The Leica Calonox SE is a thermal clip-on optic designed to add thermal imaging capability to a compatible daytime riflescope. Rather than replacing the primary scope, the clip-on configuration allows the shooter to retain a familiar optical setup while gaining the ability to detect heat signatures in low-light and nighttime conditions.
For hunters who value consistency in their rifle setup, the Calonox SE offers a practical way to expand capability without committing to a permanently dedicated thermal sight. This Genesis Rifles listing includes a Rusan adapter; correct fit depends on the specific host optic and adapter configuration, so compatibility should be confirmed before purchase.
